Topological phenomena in periodically driven quantum materials |

Periodic drivings such as light-matter interactions are useful in engineering and controlling various topological states, and even more remarkably, they are able to create novel topological states without static counterpart. In this talk, I will give a brief introduction to topological aspects of periodically driven systems. I will then talk about our recent works on driving-induced transitions from topological nodal-line semimetals to Weyl and multi-Weyl semimetals. I will also introduce a general formulation of topological invariants of Floquet systems, which is useful in numerical study and topological classifications of Floquet systems.
