摘要: The enhanced transport of inertial Levy flights resulting from the superimposed roughness in a tilted periodic potential is investigated in this paper. The mean velocity and the mean first passage time are calculated with respect to the Levy index, driving force, and the roughness. The results indicate that the roughness can not only hinder the transport but also enhance it, which depends on the total contribution of Levy index, the tilted periodic potential apparatus, and especially the roughness. Besides, after superimposing the roughness, the transport of inertial Levy flights driven by nonlinear friction in the tilted periodic potential is studied. Since the bimodal nature of velocity distribution is broken, which results from the appearance of the roughness, the superdiffusion or superballistic diffusion is weakened, or even vanished.
