  • Abstract摘要
    In recent years, the holographic duality (also called AdS/CFT correspondence) has been applied to solid state physics by breaking the spatial translation symmetry of the boundary systems. In this talk, I will first introduce a homogeneous solid model, holographic axion model, which has been revealed that the dual boundary system has a finite elastic shear modulus and acoustic phonons. Then, I will show the result from the analysis of linear stability under finite shear strains. It is found that, when the strain is beyond some critical value, the system becomes dynamically unstable which is caused by a longitudinal diffusive mode instead of phonons. This may deepen our understanding about the mechanical failure of solid systems.

    个人简介:
    李伟佳,于2010-2014年在北京师范大学攻读博士学位。期间,于2012-2014年公派美国麻省理工学院联合培养;2014-2016年在希腊克里特大学从事博士后研究;2016年起在大连理工大学物理学院任教。 研究领域涉及引力论、黑洞物理和引力的全息对偶。近些年主要的研究兴趣点在于通过全息对偶和流体力学等手段研究强耦合的凝聚态物理体系。入选2023年度彭桓武青年科学家访问计划。
